Hi.

I'm Brennan. I pretend to be a low-budget movie studio under the name Pink Fang Pictures. Why? A couple reasons:

1) I'm a big genre movie nerd. Love 'em. Love watching 'em, talking 'em, reading about 'em...why not try and make 'em? The technology's cheap. I like learning techie shit.

2) Art's been a thing I've always done. Literally my third memory in life is sitting on the floor while my mom folded laundry watching Commander Mark's Secret City on PBS and not drawing along with the assignment, but rather recreating the Battle of Hoth on a paper Kroger bag with a pencil. My first memory in life was eating a pickle and hating it. The second was biting a dog back that bit me first. So you know, things were improving.

And yes, I do still make the Commander Mark Supertable woosh sound when I draw a foreshortened square, 40 years later.

3) I want to make cool stuff to entertain myself and people that might like what I'm into. Literally nobody asked me to do this, either make art, make movies, or start writing this even, but I think that little bit about my first, second, and third memories is a pretty fun story and I wanted to share it. And that's how I feel about my art, too.

Ultimately, my question is this: Why not try and put something real out and connect with real people into the world where a lot of things right now are kinda bullshit? Seems like a good time for it to me.
